We’ve cooked up a great night on Thursday, August 12th – the “All-American Pig Roast” rally and music fest.  It’s all happening in Lino Lakes at Jim Keefe’s farmstead off 35E.  Hear from a great local musical group, Redpath - check them out at www.redpathonline.com.

Come out to hear from your GOP candidates -  for Governor, Tom Emmer; for Attorney General, Chris Barden; Secretary of State candidate, Dan Severson; running for the 4th District U.S. Congressional seat, Teresa Collett; your candidate for MN Senate District 53, Roger Chamberlain; incumbent MN House member from 53B, Rep. Carol McFarlane, and Linda Runbeck, your candidate for the 53A MN House seat.  Our emcee for the night is Tom Katt, producer of America's Best Country Music Festival, WE Fest!

In addition, you’ll feast on the greatest Pig Roast you’ve ever tasted.   All this for only $15 if purchased in advance - otherwise $20 at the gate.  Kids 12 and under are free.  Come early and enjoy the party, the opening music starts at 5:30 p.m. Mingle around the big bonfire with friends, neighbors and candidates, and enjoy the party until the 9:30 p.m. wrap up.  There is plenty of free parking at the site.

Senate District 53 met Thursday, March 25th in White Bear Lake for our nominating convention.

The delegates endorsed Roger Chamberlain of Lino Lakes as their choice to be the Republican candidate in the November general election.

The House District 53A Convention was held  Saturday, March 6th at Peace United Methodist Church, in North Oaks.

The delegates endorsed Linda Runbeck of Circle Pines as their choice to be the Republican candidate in the November general election.  Linda's campaign website is located here.

Delegates and alternates were also elected by their peers to attend the two Congressional District (CD) conventions
